What Causes Blocked Nose, Viral Rash, Fever And Sore Throat In A Child?

my 8month old grand-daughter lives with us(with her mum my daughter) she has an history of illness. currently was diagnosed by GP with viral infection 5days ago, symptoms then, blocked nose, faint viral rash, sore throat, advised to continue with calpol and fluids and he prescribed nasal drops too. She did cut 4 top teeth at the same time. Had a disturbed night from 2.am out of character, been very niggly all day, checked temp at 5.30 pm as she was hot to touch, but temp was low, 34.8 noticed cold hands and feet, at bath time noticed small rash on mid to lower spine, she had her bath and milk as normal and was asleep at 6.15 still settled and breathing normally, is it still just a viral infection and need to ride through it or would you recommend another visit to gp?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the viral infection then it may take 5 to 7days to come around and till then it can be taken care with general measurement like taking care of hydration and fever else this is nothing to worry condition would be self limiting hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
