What Causes Blood Blister Like Scar On Arm?

I am curious about a deep burn scar i have on my inner arm that is from 5 years ago. (from a hot cookie sheet I took out of the oven and accidentally burned my arm with) it is indented and white, but sometimes (I suspect it gets a little itchy and I scratch it without realizing it, it gets bright purple, almost like a blood blister and stays like that for days. What is it?

Hi.
As per your case history you are probably having hidradenitis suppurativa.
My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take a NSAID like ibuprofen for pain and levocetrizine for itching.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics like levofloxacin, cefadroxil and azithromycin taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
