Hello,

I can understand your concern for the blood blister on inner thigh area of your husband.

In my view it can be due to ingrown hair leading to formation of infection and then a blood blister over the thigh area. I first and foremost ask you and your husband to not to touch pinch or pop the area as can get secondarily infected.

In my patients with your kind of problem I prefer to give an oral antibiotic such as ciprofloxacin or amoxycillin for 5-7 days.

An additional pain killer tablet is of much help in reducing the inflammation and pain of the affected area.

Ask your husband to wear cotton clothes and stay in cool place.

Hpe it helps.
