What Causes Blood Blister On Knee And Ankle After Left Knee Injury?
My mom fell a week ago and landed on her left knee. She had an X-ray which showed no fracture or dislocation. Sweeping was too much for MRI, and was prescribed RICE. She s now getting blood blisters on knee and around ankle. Is this normal for a severe deep tissue contusion?

No, not a deep tissue contusion but she now may have a cellulitis--skin infection-- of the leg, so she should have a doctor take a look at this.
She may need a course of antibiotics
