What Causes Blood Blisters On The Forearm?

In the last year, I have noticed that I get blood blisters on my forearms. I can get them when carrying my purse over my arm, when my dog jumps in my lap and sometimes, for no apparent reason at all. After they heal, a brown spot is left behind and sometime that spot will refill with blood on occasion. Recently, one actually broke open and wouldn t stop bleeding until I applied pressure, then a bandage. Should I be concerned?

Hi,Welcome to healthcare magic. After going through your query I think you may be suffering from bleeding disorders particularly hemophilia.you should get your blooding time and clotting time checked. It is hereditary disease so I want to know that any of your family members got such disease. Protect yourself from injury.Apply pressure bandage if bleeding.Replacing clotting factor is treatment. You should I be concerned AND GOT YOURSELF INVESTIGATED. I think your query answered.Welcome to any follow up query
