What Causes Blood Clots In Periods?

twice today while urinating i felt a slight burn, the first thought was kidney stones. the first time i noticed this when i wiped there was a faint pink color on the tissue. the second time there was still faint pink color but i noticed what kind of looked like blood clots in the bowl. ive been prescribed gildess fe 1.5 for almost a year now, and i take it everyday on time with the occasional late slip ups. this morning was my last active pill in the pack and tomorrow is day 1 of 7 of my sugar pills. my period always comes on the 3rd or 4th day of the surgar pills. (Tues. or Wed.) im just worried as to what could be the cause of these blood clots and very faint sides of pink blood? pregnancy? or something worse? ive also been coughing a lot lately which ive found to be strange as well.. help please.

hi don't worry it is not a matter of concern . it could just be breakthrough bleeding which occurs due to hormonal imbalance while on birth control pills and is very common or it can be an early period. in Both situations it's nothing to worry. all the best take care.
