What Causes Blood Clots In The White Of The Eye Causing Severe Pain While Moving The Eyes?

Hi, I just wanted to find out if there is anything I should do about my left eye. When I woke up 3 days ago my eye was filled with blood, the whites of the eye were pretty much completely deep dark red and there were what appears to be blood clots on the whites of the eye as well. It hurt for a day when I moved my eyes around, but, after that I've only had a slight headache. I take high
blood pressure meds and I am a diabetic.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having blood clots in the white of the eye. This indicates sub conjunctival hemorrhage. Since you are diabetic and hypertensive this may be the cause for your sub conjuncitval hemorrhage and pain in the head.
Hence this requires treatment for diabetes and hypertesnion. The sub conjuncitval hemorrhage will resolve over 3-4 weeks.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
