What Causes Blood Clots Under Knees After Walking?

hi my sister has a kind of allergy which spears after she walks it has been for past 4 years she is 35years old. it spears on legs in shape of blood clots on under knees till fleets all around her legs swell and frozen red blood papers after few days rest it goes away. could you please help me with this.
