What Causes Blood Discharge From The Penis?

Doctor, i m male aged 50 years found heavy blood in my underwear at the place where my penis is. It was in d last week and i didnt aware at all. It was only once and i nvr see this again. What can b reason for this?, should i go n see a doc? Pls advice.

Bloody discharge from penis can be due to many causes and a detailed evaluation may be needed to find out the exact reason.
Bladder or kidney stones are the major cause for bloody discharge from penis.
Orher causes are
1.enlarged prostate
2.bladder or kidney infections
3.some medicines
4.Tumors in bladder
5.Vigorous exercise
6.trauma to kidney
7.some hematological disease.

Since blood discharge from penis can be a sign of many serious diseases it shouldn't be ignored.
Drink plenty of water,Avoid strenuous exercises, If symptoms recurs consult a urologist.
