General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Following TURP procedure, there is less chances that you could have infection of prostate gland as it would have need removed.
Hence, passing of blood during urination could be due to infection in the kidneys or urinary bladder.
Kindly get the following investigation done to know what could be the cause for it.
1. Urine routine examination.
2. Urine culture and sensitivity.
3. Ultrasound abdomen to visualize kidney, ureter and urinary bladder.
4. Cystoscopy.
Kindly consult Urologist with reports for proper assessment and treatment.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
