What Causes Blood From Throat After Waking Up In Morning

I quite smoking in early February. Just recently over the last few weeks I wake up and have a blood taste in my mouth. i go the the bathroom and spit up blood. At first I thought it may be from bleeding gums but now believe it is coming from my throat. It only occures in the morning.

It seems most likely to become from bleeding gum as per mentioned history.

It's advisable to get check your all teeth and gum by the dentist. If no problem in teeth or gum then you can consult the physician for detailed chest evaluation.
