What Causes Blood In Cough And Pain In Shoulder/lung While Breathing?

I have a fever, went to a doctor last night and he said he thought I have a virus and to take Advil. My fever was up to 103.4. Now it has come down some. The last few days I ve had runny nose, but only cough once in a while. Now for some reason my left side of shoulder and possibly lung area hurt when I breathe. I would not be alarmed except I coughed up blood twice this morning. (Clots of blood)
