What Causes Blood In Diarrhea?
I had diarrhea that kept me in the bathroom for about 30 minutes with some cramping and slight nausea. At the end of this episode I had blood, about a large spoonfull. What could have cause this? After that I kept myself on mostly liquid diet (chicken soup and jello). What could have caused this??

It is suggestive of infection. Based on the history you seem to be suffering from infection like amebic or bacillary dysentery. Other causes could be inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulosis or a tumor. You are advised to consult a doctor for proper evaluation to find out the exact cause and its treatment.
