I am 51 yr old female. I noticed this morning when I woke up I had blood in my eye. I took my blood pressure and it is 128/81 is that normal or should I be concerned. I had not trauma to my eye and just wokd up with blood in the white of my eye. ..never had that happen before
Hi, It seems that there might be having sub conjunctival hemorrhage giving this problem. There might be having some causes like, 1, sudden rise of blood pressure at the time of kemorrhage, 2, fallen some foreign body or some insect in the eye, 3, Irritation by fingers due to rubbing of fingers in the eye. Go for regular blood pressure checking. If require put some antibiotic eye drops for 2-3 days. Ok and take care.
