What Causes Blood In Mouth When Waking Up In Mornings?
Hi, for a couple of months I have found that every now and then when I wake up I am tasting blood and when I spit I am spitting blood. In the last week this has been happening every morning and has now started to happen a few times throughout the day. My spit will start out with a trace of blood, fairly quickly become quite highly concentrated (in colour at least) then taper off and get back to normal over the space of 1-2 minutes. Also, between these "episodes" I am finding that I produce a lot of saliva and almost constantly have a taste of blood at the back of my mouth. Also, my teeth and gums feel fine, so I don't thin it's a dental issue.
Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM, I have gone through your query, you have mentioned that when you waked up in the morning you have noticed blood in mouth , dont worry it can be dental issue, it can be caused by gingival bleeding, go to the dentist first for check up and your problem continue then go for complete haemogram .and them consult physician. Hope this will help you.
