Hi I had my ovary and fallopian tube a cyst fibroids , and uterus removed five days ago... I feel great. today I tried to eat normally but it was to much I threw up and I got a bloody nose and spit blood out of my mouth it subsided should I be concerned
Any type of surgery would involve some form of anesthetic and this can cause some side effects or post anesthetic issues. Along with this, the surgery itself may cause some side effects like bleeding post surgery, nausea, or infection.
Bleeding and spitting out blood may be seen when one has used anticoagulants post surgery or some medications for recovery. An infection may also lead to this.
To confirm this, an examination of the throat would be needed. in case the throat is engorged, it is possible that there is a throat infection.
A few other things to watch for include scar tenderness, pelvic pain, and any vaginal bleeding.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards, Dr. Vignan Rachabattuni
