Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Blood in phlegm is not usual sign and this may indicate certain issues which can be related to mouth, throat or lungs. You should see dentist first to rule out broken tooth or mouth ulcerations. Second some lung issues such as pneumonia or emphysema may be present especially if you are a smoker. Some more serious things such as tumors are not first thing to think of but in smokers should be ruled out as well. Sandstorm may be related to these lung diseases definitely so pumologic evaluation is definitely required. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
