What Causes Blood In Sperm?

Hi, I had a colonoscopy 4 weeks ago with no issues, except that as soon as I urinated after the procedure I passed blood, and then a couple of days later and since, I ve had blood in my sperm. I ve had urine tests and ultra sound on bladder and kidneys, but the blood still is present in the sperm. I m presuming the prostate was damaged in the colonoscopy. I also had a heamorhoid banded during the procedure. Can the prostate be damaged in this procedure, and how? By prostate was mildly emlarged. Thankyou, John

HI
Well come to HCM
If you had gone through the procedure of colonoscopy then damage of prostrate gland is out of question because the gland is not situated where the colon is situated, in my opinion better get done the sperm analysis and if this founded in there too, then CT of scrotum need to be done, to find out the cause, helps this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
