blood comes in the sputum when the mucous membrane of bronchus or lung is opened due to infection / ulceration / irritation is there opening the small blood vessels under it!
so it could be some infection, tuberculosis or even cancer!
please ask for a sputum microscopic test in the early morning for confirmation
all the best!
