What Causes Blood In Sputum?

Hi Doctor,I am getting small amount of blood(red lines like strucure)in sputum.I am on treatment from last two days.There is a infection at throat level and taking the medicines cepodem and completed the course for azithromycin tablet.Is it a serious problem ? Should i go for ENT surgeon ?

Hi..this could be due to infecrion of thyroat ...because of increased blood in infected area and also due to cough which can cause trauma to throat...nothing to worry...it will subside on its own...
