Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, i just miscarriage about some days ago. And my dr. Has suggested me to take medicine to clear the uterus from blood clots. Please tell me for this if blood is coming out through stool, so is this normal? Please reply me as early as you can. Thank you
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No, blood in stool is not normal. Miscarriage cause bleeding from vagina, not from anus. And blood in stool has altogether different causes then miscarriage. So you should consult your doctor for blood in stool. You will need stool microscopic examination, ultrasound examination of abdomen and lower GI (gastrointestinal) scopy to find out the cause for this. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
