Hello,

Stomach pain and blood in stool may be due to:

1. Bacillary dysentery.
2. Amoebic dysentery.
3. Colitis.
4. IBD.
5. Hemorrhoids.
6. Fissure in ano.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use tablet oflox ornidazole twice a day for five days. Avoid spicy food and alcohol.

Get it done stool for cultural and microscopy. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
