What Causes Blood In Stool While On Telma, Nikoran And Ecosprin?
hello Doctor, I had angioplasty 3 months back. one stent inserted. I am on Telma 40mg, Glycomet 500mg, Nicoran 5mg, Ecosprin 150 mg, Prasugrel 10mg, Atorvastatin 40mg. So far I am good, today I have observed a thin coating of blood in the stool. What could be the reason and how to address it?

Hello,
It is due to minor intestinal bleeding due to multiple blood thinners. Generally it will settle by itself. You can go for a blood count tom check whether the hemoglobin is on lower side or not.
If the symptoms persist or in case of symptoms like pain, you can consult a physician and get evaluated.
