What Causes Blood In Stool While Suffering From Cervical Spondylitis?

Hello Sir,Yesterday I saw blood in latren when I went to toilet in early morning.it was less in quantity but no pain I felt. I thought it is because of some spicy food I ate in night but today I too saw a blood when in motion again.I am also talking pills for servical spondelitiss so does they cause this? Or I am having some kind of illness.Thanks.

Bleeding from the anus or rectal bleeding, Which is a very common symptom. Up to 15% of adults have seen blood on their toilet paper.
Blood in stool has no relation to cervical spondylitis or any medicine given in it
As a general rule, bright red blood means that the bleeding has come from the area around the anus. If the blood is darker, it usually means that its origin is a bleed higher up the digestive tract.
Bleeding can be due to following reasons
1. Hemorrhoids( piles) is most common reason. They are swollen blood vessels in the rectum or anus.
2.Anal fissures- a tear in intestine sometimes caused due to hard stool passage
3.Infection of intestines
4.Rarely it might be colon cancer
If problem persists, you should visit a Gastroenterologist
