Hello and welcome to HCM,
Cirrhosis can lead to upper gastrointestinal tract (GIT) bleeding.
Upper GIT bleeding is associated with black colored or dark colored stools.
However, bright red blood in stools is indicative of bleeding from lower GIT.
hemorrhoids is one of the possibilities.
If no hemorrhoid is detected then a colonoscopy needs to be done to look from ant ulcer or growth in the lower GIT.
Bleeding in stools is associated with iron loss in stools and thus anemia.
Thus, complete hemogram also needs to be done to detect the anemia and its type for further management.
I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist at the earliest for clinical assessment, colonoscopy and thus management.

Thanks and take care
