What Causes Blood In Stool?

Had to delay B/M due to driving. Got really painful. Finally made it to a restroom and things went well and a great relief. About two hours later. Had another urge. Very little stool but quite a bit of bright red blood. No pain other than the discomfort of the need while driving. Any idea of what happened?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You might have fissure, that is cut in your anal region which leads to bleeding when stool is passed due to friction. Please visit a doctor and take treatment for this. This will not cure without treatment. Avoid maize products, take some laxative which can make your stool soft.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Iven Romic Rommstein, General Surgeon
