What Causes Blood In Stool?

I ve lost a lot of weight since January, because I have been changing my lifestyle to eat more healthy balanced food and I exercise a good 30 minutes to an hour and a half Mon-Friday. I noticed I have a mucousy blood like substance sometimes when I poop. I have no pain and feel no discomfort, but could not find anything on what it may be.

Hi.
Loosing weight along with mucousy bloody poos is to be investigated by Colonoscopy, biopsy and CT scan of the abdomen.
This is irrespective of the changed diet habits and exercises.
This is imperative as one has to rule out gastrointestinal cancers which had the least of symptoms the loss of weight is being the most common and easily missed out.
