What Causes Blood In Stools?
Like 3 years ago I noticed blood in stool,then it went away came back a year ago and now i experienced it for like 3 days consecutive days and its bright red.What could be the problem?i had the eating raw rice disorder which I have really managed. Kindly assist

Bright red blood can be due to different causes such as: (a) a fissure /tear by the anal opening
(b)hemorrhoids- this is a common cause
(c)diverticular disease- this refers to out pockets or pouches in the colon
(d)cancer of the colon
(e)non cancerous polyps (growths ) of the colon
It would be best, especially since this is the second occurrence, to see your doctor for an assessment.
