What Causes Blood In The Stool With Strange Foul Smell?

I have a significant amount of blood in my stool and it has a very strange foul almost old blood smell. I have had some abdominal cramps. I just got my nexplannon implant removed and had to take plan b a few days later because I m not started on a new birth control. Is this normal side effects to that or should I be worried?

No, I would say that the blood in the stool will have to be separately investigated as it could be a cause for concern. Noting from your query, it sounds like the blood is fresh which means it is quite possibly a lower gastrointestinal tract bleed possibly from conditions like hemorrhoids, IBS, etc. I recommend an immediate consultation with a doctor or the ER.
