What Causes Blood In Urine, Back Pain And Fatigue?

I m a 53 year, realtively healthy (slightly overweight 5 -10, 215 pounds) with a history of kidney stones. For the last 2-3 days I ve had an upset stomach (feels like huger pains). Last night I had a slight bit of diahreea which I thought fixed the problem. Earlier today I saw blood in my urine. In the past BEFORE I ve had boughts with kidney stones the pain was in my back (kidney). This time it seems a bit different. Also have been experiencing a bit of fatigue the last month or so (which I attribute to heat/stress/work). Any comments? Mike

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Considering your age, painless haematuria needs complete evaluation. I advise you to consult nephrologist. Its not related to your diarrhoea. Stomach upset could be because of gastritis or food poisoning. Take proton pump inhibitors with plenty of fluids and electrol powder that may help you with stomach upset problem.

Thank you
