What Causes Blood In Urine Post Antibiotic Treatment For UTI?

I have blood in my urine. I had a severe UTI about 3 months ago, treated successfully with antibiotics. But I have noticed dark urine for the past 3 days, no pain, and now the blood is getting brighter red...still no pain. No weight loss, no back pain, no problem emptying, no urgency. Have felt fatigue lately. Had sore throat a week ago. No fever. Can I have a UTI without pain serious enough to cause blood in my urine?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
It may be urinary stones so you should do urine analysis, urinoculture and kidneys ultrasound to rule these out. You should drink raspberry tea and plenty of water till you do tests- Also, avoid sexual intercourse and have keep good hygiene. You should reduce salt in your diet as well. In most cases this is self limiting but sometimes invasive procedures are required.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
