What Causes Blood In Urine Post Multiple Teeth Extractions?

My son had a bony impaction & 2 teeth removed..a total of 3. One under the gum in the roof of his mouth & the other 2 baby teeth pulled. He has been to the bathroom twice since the procedure & os having blood in his urine. Could this be from possible blood draining or tylenol with codeine?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Blood in urine is not generally related to the teeth extraction. I would recommend to do a urine test and an abdominal ultrasound for further evaluation. Meanwhile, no treatment is required.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
