I am a 75 yr. old male in excellent physical condition. I am an avid bicycle rider and am now training to ride the Tour de Tucson. However, today I noticed blood in my urine. I am taking Myrbetriq (50mg) for irritable bladder syndrome. I have been taking this drug since March of this year. In the last month or so, I have noticed an improvement in my ability to go through the night with only getting once. I used to get up 3 to 5 times to urinate in the night. I also noticed recently, the stream has been stronger and more normal. Until today. I had a blood in the urine about an hour after dinner, and again about 2 hours after the first episode. Should I watch for continued blood in the urine, or more hopefully, the urine clearing up? Thank you for any light you might shed on this problem.
