General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
Pregnancy is most unlikely as the intercourse was not penetrative and also you have taken emergency contraceptive pill.
Once you get your periods within 3 weeks of pill intake, it means that you have been protected.
For other symptoms what you are experiencing is due to bacterial infection of vagina and urethra.
You need to take what the doctor has prescribed, which would relieve your symptoms.
May be, you may require systemic antibiotic course like Levofloxacin to be taken in addition to treat urinary tract infection.
Drink good quantities of fluids and keep the area clean and healthy.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
