Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Was going to restroom more often then noticed blood in urine as time went on was mostly blood coming out had little clots in it also dark in color also the blood went from lite red to deever red color. Went to urgent care they said uti. I feel sounds like something more may be going on. No pain or weakness. Should I be more concerned.
As a physician I would like to tell you that your ER room doctors were right in diagnosing you as UTI and should have prescribed you a full course of antibiotics and other medicines. Thus I would suggest that you complete a full course of medicine which will relieve the symptoms and other things. But, if you still continue to have these symptoms you should undergo an endoscopy to pin point the cause.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Abhijeet
