Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My boyfriend is currently pissing blood. Shortly thereafter, he wet his pants involuntarily. He has a history of kidney stones, and has periodically pissed blood and lost control of his bladder, usually for a few days at a time at each occurrence. Then it seems to clear up for a while. He is not overweight & exercises regularly. However, he is a bit nutty about taking supplements - way too many in my opinion. And he uses salt excessively - in my opinion.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Sushant's Response
Hello, In my opinion blood in urine may be due to renal stones or infection in kidneys or traumatic injury. An ultrasound of abdomen and kidney is advisable. Involuntary passage of urine may be due to neurological problems. It should not be ignored. A neurological consultation is required.
