What Causes Blood Shot Eyes After Using Contact Lenses?

Got my first pair of contacts Monday. Tuesday evening as I was taking contact out of left eye it was difficult. I have not put them back in since. My left eye become blood shot in appearance and has felt irritated since. Tonight I was looking at it and I noticed in the corner of the white part of my eye appeared to be a cream colored spot. I put some opti free pure moist in eye and touched the cream spot and it appears to be moveable.

Hi,

It is due to the severe allergic reaction.

Consult an ophthalmologist at the earliest and get evaluated.

Immediate removal of the lenses recommended. It is advisable to begin using steroid drops.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
