What Causes Blood Spots In The Eyes?

I get blood spots in the white of my eyes for no apparent reasons. Seems to happen every few months. Will take a few days to clear, sometimes up to a week. Then ok for a month maybe two, then another will appear. No real pain, just can feel eye slightly irratated. Any possible reasons / treatments to help clear the eye?

following may be the reason
1) lifting heavy weight
2) hypertension
3)straining during defeacation
4) strenous bout of cough
5)associated with menstruation
6) blood dyscradias
since its recurrent and often and if it is associated with petiachial heamorrhages elsewhere on body then it is advisable to have blood investigations done to rule out bloid dyscrasias.
check your Blood pressure also.

usually small blood clots are self limiting and resolves spontanoudly in a week or so.
if they are large then you can take tablet vitsmin C 500 mg once a day for 1week and cold compress will helpin early recovery.
if eye irritation is there you can safely use refresh tears sos
