What Causes Blood Spots Under Skin After An Injury?

Injured my pinky finger 3 days ago due to key toss (which bled a lot), disinfected with rubbing alcohol and slapped a band-aid on. I woke up the next morning with what seems to be blood trapped under the skin in two small spots near the pad on the side of my nail. Tender to touch and the biggest spot feels tougher than surrounding skin; also elevated (blister?).Should I do something about the blister and will this hopefully go away with time?

hi,
thank you for putting up your query on HCM.
as per your history, you have wound due to trauma on finger.
-- healing takes time, around 1 week.
so, I would advise you to wait for normal healing. nothing to be worry about.
-- however, you may take pain killer like tab ibuprofen and can apply topical antibiotic like Neosporin cream twice a day.
wishing you good health.
thank you
