What Causes Blood Sugar Variations In A Diabetic During Pregnancy?
Sir, I am 24years , I am going through diabetes since 7 years and am also taking insulin 60 units per day. Now I am 5 months pregnant But my sugar level sometimes going high and low . Am very much worried about the baby , I have an doubt in my mind that am going to give birth to a normal child or a diabetic child ?
Hi dear. This variation is due to hormonal changes occurring in pregnancy. If blood sugar is kept in the normal range, pregnancy outcome can be made better. But, there is a chance of diabetes in the child in future.
Wishing for everything to be fine. Take care. Thank you.
