Hi.Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

Blood in the urine is very common in long standing benign hypertrophy of prostate, or enlarged prostate. In males urinary tract passes through middle of prostrate gland. when prostrate becomes significantly large, it could cause urinary retention & eventually bleeding. Also it increases the chance of urinary tract infection
Are you taking medicines for your prostate. if not you may have to start medicines as soon as possible. Also get an ultrasound done to check for stones and a routine urine examination.
Consult a urologist to decide on medical or surgical management.

Hope this information helps
