What Causes Bloody Marks On Lower Body With Irritable Cough?

my husband 51 has developed af waiting to see cariolgist this week, in past 2wkks has develped blood type marks on lower boody not like normal bruising which is getting worse each day going for blood test today, his dad had thrombocyapaenia,he does have a irratable cough but on ace inhibators, he chokes a bit on food,whats your opinion

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bloody marks on lower body with irritable cough . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like scarlet fever , whooping cough , pertussis , cocciodiodomycosis , Q fever or syphilis . The symptoms can also occur due to allergic reaction . I would suggest you to drink plenty of water , take anti histamine like bendryl twice a day and stay relax . Consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order blood test , check vitals and take history to rule out side effect of medicine . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or anti viral depending upon the diagnosis .
