What Causes Bloody Nose?

I ve been having a bloody nose on the left side of my nose. I have this bloody nose for 3 days and I haven t had a bloody nose since I was a child. The only time I would get a bloody nose is when my ex-husband used to beat me up. But that was about 10 years ago. I don t know if there is something wrong with me because it comes suddenly and sometimes I don t feel it when it comes. Can you tell me what this could be? I m a 39 year old woman. Thank you.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this means the pure bleeding per nose, then this could be a case of "Epistaxis", let me tell you that percentage of Idiopathic epistaxis is more than the pathological one, still the condition need to be investigated for some blood disorder diseases, past history of nose injury may not be related with this, hope this information helps.
