What Causes Bloody Stool And Dizziness?

hello, my significant other has been experiencing a lot of bloody stool with blood clots in them, he just recently went to the bathroom and this happened afterwards he was dizzy and said his vision was blurry, this is a reoccurring thing with him he has peptic ulcers but never got them controlled, he has fallen asleep on the sofa now and I m wondering if I should just take him to the e.r?
