What Causes Blue Color And Painful Penis Veins?

My poor ex is lost to anything he can get his hands on. He recently confided in me that his veins are gone and he is now injecting into his penis. He thought he had missed the vein because his Penis was blue and somewhat painful for several hours. He reports this in past tense so I m assuming it resolved. What could have happened? He is extremely risky and careless with prep and equipped not with others (although I m sure it s not great) but with hygiene. I ve tried all I can for him to seek help. Now I just want to be prepared for what s next. I m safe and staying that way. As I stated he is my ex.

Hello,

Your ex is advised to get clinically examined by a urologist. Such symptoms commonly arise due to trauma of the penis veins during vigorous sex, it gets inflamed & swollen. Prolonged vigorous sex cause thrombophlebitis or inflammation / swelling of the penile veins leading to blood clots, that may appear blue in color. He is advised to apply ointment thrombophob on the area swollen and blue. The ointment will help to disperse the blot clots under the penile skin / vein. The urologist will tell you to get ultrasonography with Doppler for diagnosis.

He is advised to avoid any sexual activity or masturbation for four - six weeks and for pain relief, he can take acetaminophen twice daily after food. Pain should get relieved in 10 days and penile swelling should reduce in 15 days. Treatment given for such cases is commonly supportive with analgesics orally and anti-coagulants in topical forms. Other measures such as warm compresses, sexual abstinence until the symptoms resolve is advised.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
