What Causes Blue Discoloration Of Hands And Thighs After Undergoing Collarbone Surgery?

My son is thirteen. He recently had a collarbone operation and had a titanium plate and screws put in it. He takes focal in daily 20 milligrams. He does not take it on Saturday and Sunday. Tonight I noticed his hands were blue and his thighs seemed to be bluish color. When I pressed on his hands they took about 3 seconds to go from white back to blue. What should I do?
