What Causes Blue Patches On My Legs After Exposing To Heat?

Whenever I go in a shower or sit infront of a heater or the weather is warm/ hot I get these patches on my legs. One is always worse than the other and I m wondering why. It embarrasses me because they come out of nowhere and the patches are really ugly. Sometimes they turn blueish to purple

Hi,

It can be lentigines, solar lentigines which is a harmless discoloration of the skin. It occurs due to exposure to either sun or UV radiation, melanocytes proliferate under the skin resulting in the accumulation of keratinocytes within the skin cells.

Avoid solar exposure and use sunscreens. Treatment of choice is cryotherapy or laser therapy.
