What Causes Blue Toes At Night While Having Diabetes Type2?

My toes turn blue at night. It happens after I been asleep for about 5 - 7 hours. They don t hurt. Although I m usually in pain so might not notice. It goes away after I get up and walk a bit or pump the muscles in my legs. This started to happen after I started taking Lovastatin. I am 57 years old. 5 8 weigh 240, recently found out that I am diabetic - type 2. Staying on good diet for diabetics and lost 11 pounds.

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is just blue in color and does not have any other symptoms then no need to worry about this, if this would be due to diabetes then this would have been painful with the change of color, if the symptoms persist then angiography is must, hope this helps.
