Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, So I have never had any eye problems. About a day ago, when I woke up I noticed my eye was hurting when I looked far left or right. Sometimes up. I drive trucks and I have 20/10 vision. My vision seems to be fine. But, I have a blunt pain in my right eye. it feels like its behind the eye, or muscular more than the actual eye itself that is hurting. When I close my eye, and look towards the ground and right, and take my fingers and gently push the top left corner of my eye (1st person view) i feel the pain up there. What could that be and should I seek medical attention ASAP or see if it clears? Email: YYYY@YYYY
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. According to your symptoms i am suspecting GLAUCOMA.
It is a condition like high blood pressure in the eye due to elevated intra ocular pressure. Consult a good ophthalmologist and get a fundus examination. If your a diabetic or hypertensive you should control your blood sugar levels and BP. Daily do ocular exercises in the morning.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions. Thank you.
