What Causes Blurred And Double Vision Post A Cataract Surgery?

I had cataract surgery on my right eye on 4/13/16 - it was my dominate eye. Now I have blurriness, double vision and exophthalmos. I am scheduled for a CT Scan of Orbits with and without contrast and a thyroid work up. I can t believe its my thyroid as these conditions only began since the surgeries. Do/should I get a second opinion or is my doctor on the right track. I am unable to drive due to the double vision and have a problem with computer work due to the distortion.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There can be blurring and haziness after cataract surgery if there is retinal edema or other issue in post-operative recovery period.

Kindly share your CT scan images with me for further correspondence in this regard to go ahead for further discussion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
